There is the highest demand for SUVs in the Indian car market. This is why automakers are also shifting their focus toward this segment. In this article, we bring you details of mid-size SUVs sold in November 2024. Mahindra Scorpio secured the first position on this list, while Tata Harrier also made its place in the top 5.
Mahindra Scorpio/N
The popular SUV manufacturer Mahindra sold a total of 12,704 units of the Scorpio and Scorpio N last month, which is approximately 19% less compared to the 15,677 units sold in November 2023. Despite this decline, the Scorpio remained number one in its segment.
Mahindra XUV700
Another Mahindra vehicle secured the second position in the list of best-selling mid-size SUVs. The XUV700 gained a total of 9,100 new customers last month, reflecting a slight decline of 12.79% compared to the 10,435 units sold in November 2023.
Hyundai Alcazar
Hyundai sells this 7-seater car as a mid-size SUV. Last month, it received a total of 2,134 new customers, which is 3.18% lower than the 2,204 units sold in November 2023. It is expected to be introduced soon in a facelifted version.
Tata Safari
In November 2024, Tata Safari secured the fourth position in the mid-size SUV segment. Tata Motors sold a total of 1,563 units last month, which is 25% lower compared to the 2,086 units sold in November 2023.
Tata Harrier
As mentioned earlier, the Tata Harrier secured the fifth position in the mid-size SUV segment in November 2024. It received a total of 1,374 new customers last month, which is 29% lower compared to the 1,947 units sold in November 2023.
Apart from the top-5 mid-size SUVs mentioned above, the sales figures for November 2024 are as follows: MG Hector and Hector Plus – 1,106 units, Jeep Compass – 188 units, Hyundai Tucson – 84 units, VW Tiguan – 79 units. Meanwhile, Citroen C3 Aircross did not receive a single customer.
