Hyundai Creta faces competition from its sibling company's Kia Seltos SUV. The company sells it at a starting price of ₹10.9 lakh, which goes up to ₹20.4 lakh for the top variant. These are ex-showroom prices.

It is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol variant produces 158 BHP and 253 Nm, while the naturally aspirated engine delivers 113 BHP and 144 Nm of torque. The diesel engine generates 114 BHP and 250 Nm of torque.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

In the Indian market, the Grand Vitara can be bought at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹10.87 lakh, going up to ₹20.09 lakh for the top variant. As for the engine, the Grand Vitara is powered by a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol powertrain. This motor produces 103 hp and 137 Nm of torque. Maruti offers it with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox option and mild-hybrid technology.

Skoda Kushaq

This German SUV is available at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹10.89 lahks, going up to ₹18.79 lakh for the top variant. It is offered with two engine options. The 1.0-liter TSI engine delivers 113 BHP and 178 Nm of torque, while the 1.5-liter TSI engine produces 148 BHP and 250 Nm of torque.

MG Hector

Another alternative to the Creta is the MG Hector. Its starting ex-showroom price is ₹14 lakh, going up to ₹22.1 lakh for the top variant. The company also sells the 7-seater version under the name MG Hector Plus.
