Price hike from January 1st
According to Hyundai, the company will raise the prices of all models by up to ₹25,000. The new prices will be effective from 1st January 2025. This makes it the last chance to buy a car at lower prices.
The company stated that the price hike is due to an increase in input costs. It’s worth noting that car companies often raise their prices at the beginning of the new year. Let’s look at some of Hyundai’s key models:
Hyundai Exter
This is a popular micro-SUV in the Indian market. Its ex-showroom price ranges between ₹6.13 lakh and ₹10.43 lakh. It comes with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a CNG option. This SUV offers a mileage of 19.4 to 27.1 km per liter.
Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta is India’s best-selling SUV. Its ex-showroom price ranges between ₹11 lakh and ₹20.30 lakh. It comes with three engine options: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. This SUV delivers a mileage of 17.4 to 21.8 km per liter.
Hyundai Alcazar
The ex-showroom price of this SUV ranges between ₹14.99 lakh and ₹21.40 lakh. It is available with a 1.5-liter GDT turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. This 7-seater SUV offers a mileage of 17.5 to 20.4 km per liter.
Hyundai i20
This is a premium hatchback in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price between ₹7.04 lakh and ₹11.21 lakh. It is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine and delivers a mileage of 16 to 20 km per liter. The car comes loaded with several advanced features.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
This flagship hatchback in the Indian market is priced between ₹5.92 lakh and ₹8.56 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers options for a 1.2-liter petrol engine and a CNG variant.
