Maruti Suzuki has set a new record by producing 2 million cars in a single calendar year—2024. With this milestone, Maruti Suzuki has become the first auto company to achieve the production of 2 million cars in such a short time.
According to Maruti Suzuki, around 60% of the 2 million cars were produced at the Manesar plant in Haryana, while 40% were manufactured at the Hansalpur plant in Gujarat. Models like the Baleno, Fronx, Ertiga, WagonR, and Brezza contributed significantly to the company's sales. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
Talking about the Maruti Ertiga MPV, its price ranges from ₹8.69 lakh to ₹13.03 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers 1.5-liter petrol and CNG engine options. This 7-seater MPV is capable of delivering a mileage of 20.3 to 26.11 km/l.
Maruti Fronx
This is one of the company’s popular SUVs. Its price ranges from ₹7.51 lakh to ₹13.04 lakh (ex-showroom). It also comes with petrol and CNG engine options and can deliver a mileage of 20.1 to 28.51 km/l.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
This is one of the company’s popular hatchbacks, priced between ₹5.54 lakh and ₹7.33 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers both petrol and CNG engine options and delivers a mileage of 23.56 to 33.48 km/l.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno
A premium hatchback from Maruti, the Baleno is priced between ₹6.66 lakh and ₹9.84 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with 1.2-liter petrol and CNG engine options and offers a mileage of 22.35 to 30.61 km/l.
Maruti Suzuki Swift
Recently introduced in a new avatar, the Swift is priced between ₹6.49 lakh and ₹9.59 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol and CNG engine and delivers a mileage of up to 25 km/l.
