Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 in India at a starting price of ₹3.60 crore (ex-showroom). The first 120 units of the G 63 have already been booked, while bookings for the remaining units have reopened today for delivery in Q3 2025. Let's learn more about this SUV.
2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 Design and Features
The SUV comes with 29 exterior paint schemes and over 31 upholstery options. Its interior is extremely luxurious, featuring carbon fiber details. A customizable ambient lighting system enhances the overall look of the SUV.
As for luxury features, it is equipped with a Burmester® 3D surround sound system, delivering an audio experience with 18 speakers and 760W output. Additionally, a satellite loudspeaker is embedded in the headliner. Other premium features include a 12.3-inch large driver display, an infotainment system running the latest MBUX NTG7 software, USB Type-C charging ports, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a 360-degree camera, and an augmented reality-based navigation system.
2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 Powertrain
The SUV is equipped with the popular handcrafted AMG 4L V8 biturbo engine, which generates an impressive 430kW of power and 850Nm of torque. Thanks to its integrated starter generator (ISG), it also delivers an additional boost of 15 kW. The G 63 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Additionally, as part of its luxury performance package, it features Race Start, which helps the SUV reach a top speed of 240 km/h. For the first time, this model introduces launch control, enhancing its acceleration capabilities.
