American automobile giant Jeep is known for its off-road vehicles. In India, Jeep is particularly popular for its Compass model. The Jeep Compass SUV competes in the Indian market with models like the Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV700 SUVs. However, the Jeep Compass has not been very successful in outperforming its rivals.

Meanwhile, Jeep has released a teaser for the new generation Compass SUV. The next-gen Jeep Compass SUV is expected to be launched in Europe by the end of 2025 or early 2026. The teaser shared by Jeep shows a sketch of the SUV's profile.
The company has only shared a sketch of the SUV's profile, which indicates that the Compass will continue Jeep's family design with its straight shape and square design elements. The visible design features include an upright fascia, pronounced haunches, and square wheel arches. Additionally, the design incorporates a modern "floating roof" with a black D-pillar and quarter glass extending up to the SUV's rear window. These elements further enhance the look of the new generation Jeep.
Next-Gen Jeep Compass SUV India Launch
Jeep has officially stated that production and sales of the new generation Compass SUV will begin in Europe in 2025, hinting that its debut could happen before the end of the year. Since India is the RHD (Right-Hand Drive) production hub for the Compass, it is expected that we could be one of the first countries to get the new generation Compass after its global launch. This means that following the global launch, it will be introduced in India first, before any other country. The new generation Jeep Compass is expected to come with both petrol and diesel power options along with an upgraded feature list.
The Jeep Compass SUV currently on sale in India is equipped with a new 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-liter diesel engine. The 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine generates 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque, while the 2.0-liter diesel engine produces 173 PS and 350 Nm of torque.
