Nissan X-Trail SUV Begins to Reach Customers

Nissan has recently launched its most awaited SUV, the X-Trail, in India. With bookings already started, deliveries have begun for customers who pre-booked the vehicle. Along with the delivery of the Nissan X-Trail, the company has also opened two new showrooms in India.

Nissan is one of Japan's most renowned car companies. However, it has struggled for many years to find its footing in India. In 2020, Nissan entered the Indian market with its Magnite, and now, on August 1, 2024, it has launched its second mid-size SUV, the X-Trail, in India.

Nissan X-Trail SUV Price and Booking

Since the car is not manufactured in India, it was expected that the price would be relatively high. As anticipated, its ex-showroom price has been set at ₹49.92 lakh.

The booking for the X-Trail started on the day of its launch. Now, deliveries have also begun across India. The company is offering a standard 3-year or 1 lakh kilometer warranty along with 3 years of free roadside assistance on the X-Trail.

Nissan Opens New Showrooms

Meanwhile, Nissan has opened two new showrooms in Bengaluru. Additionally, a dedicated Nissan car service center has also been inaugurated in Bengaluru. Saurabh Vats, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, was present at the inauguration.

Nissan X-Trail SUV Powertrain:

This car is powered by a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 12-volt motor. Yes, the X-Trail is a mild hybrid car. The engine is connected to a CVT gearbox, equipped with advanced compression technologies and a turbocharger.

Combining the engine and motor, the car is capable of delivering a maximum of 160 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. The car offers three different driving modes: Eco, Standard, and Sport. This makes it easy to drive the X-Trail on rough terrains and hilly roads with ease.

Nissan X-Trail SUV Competition

Nissan's new SUV, the X-Trail, competes in its segment with other premium 7-seater SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, and MG Gloster.
