Nissan India recently unveiled the fourth generation of its X-Trail car. It will be officially launched on August 1, 2024. On the same day, its price and more details will also be announced. But before that, let's take a look at the six key aspects of the upcoming India-spec Nissan X-Trail SUV.

It is worth mentioning that the Nissan X-Trail being launched in India is based on the CMF-C platform, and this model has been available globally since 2021.

The Nissan X-Trail boasts a robust and premium design. It features an upright SUV stance with 360-degree plastic cladding, split headlamps, door-mounted ORVMs, integrated roof rails, and large 20-inch alloy wheels.

The upcoming Nissan X-Trail may feature 20-inch alloy wheels with 255/45 tires. It has a ground clearance of 210mm. The vehicle's length is 4,680mm, width is 1,840mm, and height is 1,725mm. Despite its size, it has a turning radius of only 5.5 meters.
The upcoming fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail will be launched in India exclusively as a 7-seater. This configuration includes three rows to comfortably seat seven passengers.

The upcoming Nissan X-Trail's interior will be packed with features. It includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a similarly sized instrument cluster, a wireless charging pad, and flexible seating arrangements with a 40/20/40 split middle seat and a 50/50 folding third-row seat.

The fully imported Nissan X-Trail SUV prioritizes safety. It includes seven airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist, a 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors, and auto wipers.
Nissan X-Trail Powertrain
The upcoming Nissan X-Trail's powertrain might surprise some enthusiasts. It features a small but powerful 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine paired with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This combination delivers an impressive output of 163hp and 300Nm.
Notably, the Nissan X-Trail coming to India will not offer a manual transmission option. Instead, it will feature a shift-by-wire CVT gearbox designed to reduce the rubberband effect associated with CVTs.
