Tata Motors has launched the CNG variant of the Nexon, along with an update to its electric variant. The new Tata Nexon EV has a larger 45 kWh battery pack. The price of the Nexon EV with the 45 kWh battery pack ranges from ₹13.99 lakh to ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Nexon EV has also been introduced in the new Red Dark Edition, priced ₹20,000 more than the standard persona, at ₹17.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tata Nexon EV with the 45 kWh battery pack is available in Creative, Fearless, Empowered, and Empowered+ variants.
New Tata Nexon EV Battery and Range
According to Tata Motors, the new Nexon EV with the 45 kWh battery pack can travel up to 489 kilometers on a single charge. This SUV also features V2L and V2V charging technologies. The company claims that using a 60 kW fast charger, the Nexon EV's battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. Overall, its range and charging capabilities are quite impressive.
Design of the New Tata Nexon EV
Along with the 45 kWh battery pack, Tata has introduced the Nexon in a new Red Dark Edition. Its design is quite sporty, featuring an all-black exterior theme. The exterior also includes red inserts on the front and rear, giving it an attractive look. As for the interior, it follows a black theme with red contrasting elements.
The car's front fender sports a piano black dark chrome 2D Tata logo, a piano black lower grille, a special dark muscat color, and charcoal grey roof rails. With its new powertrain and looks, the Tata Nexon EV is all set to make waves this festive season.
In terms of features, it offers a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, dual digital screens, a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, rear AC vents with climate control, and full LED lighting.
