Variant

The Tata Punch EV will be available in two different variants - Punch.ev and Punch.ev Long Range. The standard model will be presented in five trim levels - Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. Optionally, the Punch EV Long Range variant will be introduced in three trim levels - Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+.

Design

The Tata Punch EV incorporates special elements in its design that highlight its electric nature. Speaking of the design, it does not have a front grille. Instead, there is a sleek LED light strip along the edge of the hood, which also functions as a Daytime Running Lamp (DRL).

performance

It is expected that the Tata Punch EV will provide a driving range of approximately 300 km on a single charge. However, details about its powertrain have not been revealed yet. This electric SUV will come with a 3.3-kilowatt wall box charger. Meanwhile, the long-range variant will include a 7.2-kilowatt fast home charger.

Tata has created an entirely new electric vehicle architecture called 'acti.ev.' It is a brief form of an advanced connected tech-intelligent electric vehicle. This implies that the Punch EV will feature a completely new electric design specifically developed for electric vehicles.
