The Jeep Meridian Facelift has been launched, with a reduced price and enhanced features

After a long wait, Jeep India has launched the Meridian Facelift in the domestic market. The 2025 Jeep Meridian Facelift comes with new features and, for the first time, a 5-seater version. However, in terms of visibility and engine transmission, it remains the same as before. Let’s take a look at what’s changed in the new update.

Price: The 2025 Jeep Meridian Facelift is now cheaper than the previously available model. The company has launched it at an introductory price of ₹24.99 lakh. The top variant will be available at an ex-showroom price of ₹36.49 lakh. Bookings had already begun before the official launch.

Variants

The updated Meridian can be purchased in four trim options: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland. The entry-level Longitude variant will be available only in a 5-seat configuration, while the other three variants will be offered with a 7-seat option.

Design

There aren’t any significant changes in the design. The fog lamp housing, central air intake, headlamp assembly, lower bumper trim, and bonnet chrome trim remain similar to the previous model. The grille design has received a slight update, but the alloy wheels are the same as before.

Interior and Features

Like the exterior, the cabin of the updated Meridian also remains largely unchanged. It comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, a wireless charger, and ventilated front seats, among other advanced features.

Talking about safety, this updated Jeep SUV is equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). It offers safety features like adaptive cruise control, intelligent speed assist, collision braking, lane departure warning, smart beam assist, blind spot detection, and driver attention alert. However, these features are available only on the top trims.

Engine

The SUV continues to be powered by the familiar 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This powertrain delivers a maximum power output of 170 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Like before, it can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission.
