Tata Curvv Features
Tata Motors' upcoming Curve SUV is the most awaited car in the Indian market. This car will be officially launched on 7th August. However, before this the information about the features has been revealed. According to reports, many luxury features will be provided in this car. Let us tell you that the new Tata Curve will come in both electric and ICE variants.
Level-2 ADAS Features
The Tata Curvv will be positioned between the Harrier and Nexon. The new Tata Curvv SUV may include some luxury features from the flagship Safari SUV. The new Tata Curvv will feature Level-2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats.
Additionally, the Tata Curvv will come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It is worth mentioning that Tata Motors offers several luxury features similar to BMW in the Harrier and Safari models.
Updated Dashboard
According to reports, the new Tata Curvv will feature a dashboard similar to the Harrier. Additionally, it will come with a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a JBL sound system.
Additionally, the Curvv EV will offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, access to 15+ OTT platforms with the Arcade.ev app. It will feature nine JBL-sourced speakers and a 12-inch Harman Kardon-sourced infotainment display.
Design
As for the design, the Curvv's front fascia will feature a full LED light bar on a high-set bonnet. Additionally, it will have an LED DRLs setup. The rear side of the car may include connected LED DRLs.
Overall, the Tata Curvv is a feature-loaded SUV. It will compete with the Hyundai Creta in the Indian market, so the company needs to provide advanced features.
Powertrain
The electric variant of the Tata Curvv is expected to come with a battery pack of 50kWh to 60kWh. As for the range, this SUV will be capable of covering 500KM on a single charge.
The ICE version might feature the new 1.2-liter TGDi petrol engine and 1.5-liter diesel engine from the Nexon. It could offer both manual and automatic gearbox options.
It will include a 360-degree surround camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold function, all four disc brakes, and IRA 2.0 connected technology. The Tata Curvv EV has already undergone GNCAP and BNCAP crash tests. The crash test report will be available soon.
