The latest Kia Carnival is set to enter the Indian market by the end of the year. Maruti Suzuki is reportedly working on a compact MPV codenamed YDB, which will directly compete with the Renault Triber. Kia India will introduce a facelift version of the Carens MPV in the domestic market next year, i.e., in 2025.

New Gen Kia Carnival
The latest Kia Carnival is set to enter the Indian market by the end of the year. It is estimated to be priced between ₹35 lakh and ₹45 lakh, and it will feature a redesigned look inspired by the EV9.
It features a large grille, vertically stacked LED headlights, and L-shaped DRLs. It runs on 18-inch alloy wheels and has new L-shaped tail lights.
Maruti Suzuki Compact MPV
Maruti Suzuki is reportedly working on a compact MPV codenamed YDB, which will directly compete with the Renault Triber. It is likely to be based on the Spacia.
The Spacia is designed with a compact footprint to compete directly with the Triber. It includes a three-row cabin. The YDB will be positioned below the XL6 and Ertiga in Maruti Suzuki's lineup.
New Gen Kia Carens
Kia India will introduce a facelift version of the Carens MPV in the domestic market next year, i.e., in 2025. While retaining the 6 or 7-passenger layout, the refreshed Carens is likely to feature new upgrades.
The facelifted Carens is expected to include features such as a 360-degree camera system and ADAS, which will enhance its appeal to safety-conscious consumers. No changes are expected in the engine options.
