Swedish luxury car manufacturer Volvo
has introduced its new compact electric SUV
– the Volvo EX30 in the Indian market. This is the most affordableVolvo model available in India. If you are planning to buy a compact electric

Variant
The Volvo EX30 is available in a single fully-loaded Ultra variant, priced at ₹39.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). Customers can
pre-book it, and this price is valid till 19th
October 2025. After this date, the price will increase to ₹41 lakh.
Despite being Volvo’s smallest electric car, it comes with premium features and
specifications, making it stand out strongly against its competitors in the
segment.
2. Battery,
Motor, and Range
The Volvo EX30 is equipped with a 69kWh
lithium-ion battery pack, paired with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle that produces 272hp and 343 N · m of torque. According to
the company, the SUV can accelerate from 0-100
km/h in just 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. It offers a WLTP-certified range of 480 km.

The EX30 is built on Geely’s SEA2
(Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, which is specially
designed for electric vehicles. It measures 4,233mm in length, 1,940mm in width, 1,550mm in height, and has a
wheelbase of 2,650mm. These proportions give it a compact yet stylish stance.
The Volvo EX30 comes with signature
‘Thor’s Hammer’ LED headlamps, automatic high-beam assist, and 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels. The
SUV offers 318 litres of boot space,
which can be expanded with 60:40
split-folding rear seats, along with an additional 7-litre front trunk.

The EX30’s interior reflects Volvo’s
minimalist design philosophy, blending functionality with modern
luxury. The main highlight of the cabin is the 12.3-inch vertically mounted touchscreen infotainment system,
featuring Google built-in, wireless Apple

Other premium features include dual-zone
climate control, 8-way power-adjustable front seats, a fixed panoramic sunroof,
and wireless smartphone charging. For audio, the SUV is equipped with
a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system,

EX30 continues
