Great news for luxury car enthusiasts in India! Yes, Maserati has launched its Grecale SUV in India, starting at a price of ₹1.31 crore. The lineup includes three variants: GT, Modena, and Trofeo. Let's take a look at these new luxury SUVs.
Maserati Grecale SUV Price
The GT variant is priced at ₹1.31 crore. The Modena variant costs ₹1.53 crore, while the Trofeo is priced at ₹2.05 crore. This pricing places the Grecale above its main competitor, the Porsche Macan, which ranges from ₹96.05 lakh to ₹1.53 crore.
Maserati Grecale SUV Engine
The Grecale GT variant features a 300hp, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid assistance. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels.
This model claims to accelerate from 0-100 kph in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 240 kph. It also comes with a mechanical differential as standard.
The mid-tier Modena variant uses the same engine as the GT but is tuned to produce 330 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. The top-spec Trofeo variant boasts a powerful 530 hp, 3.0-liter V6 turbo-petrol engine, which can go from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 285 km/h. This version includes a standard electronic limited-slip differential.
Maserati Grecale SUV Features
The Modena variant features 20-inch wheels with black highlights instead of chrome. It also includes leather seat covers, 14-way adjustable sports seats, and a three-zone climate control system. The top model, Trofeo, has larger 21-inch wheels, red brake calipers, sportier front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and carbon fiber elements inside and out, giving it a more aggressive look.
Maserati has stated that customers who do not wish to wait can opt for pre-configured models available for immediate delivery. However, those who want to customize their car according to their preferences may have to wait 5-8 months, depending on the modifications made.
