The 2024 Nissan Magnite was launched in October. Within just 3 months, this affordable SUV crossed the milestone of 10,000 unit bookings. In December 2024, 9,558 units were sold, marking a 72% year-on-year growth compared to the 5,561 units sold in the same month of 2023.

Price and Variants

The 2024 Nissan Magnite was launched at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹5.99 lakh. Its top-spec variant is available at an ex-showroom price of ₹11.50 lakh. The new Magnite comes with a total of 18 different variant options to choose from.

Features

The Magnite offers segment-first features like multi-color ambient lighting, premium seats with heat guard technology, and a leatherette instrument panel. It also includes advanced features like a 7-inch digital instrument cluster with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a wireless charger, a frameless auto-dimming IRVM, and an electric sunroof.

Safety

Nissan has equipped the Magnite with safety features like 6 airbags, a dashcam, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD, traction control, and hydraulic brake assist.

The Magnite has two engine options: a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated (NA) petrol unit and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol unit. The NA petrol engine produces 71 BHP of power and 96 Nm of peak torque, while the turbocharged unit delivers 99 BHP of power and 152 Nm of torque.

Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, CVT, and AMT. The Magnite offers a claimed mileage ranging from 17.9 kmpl to 19.99 kmpl.
