SUVs dominate the Indian car market. Due to the growing demand over time, car manufacturers are updating their existing models and launching new products. If you are planning to buy a 7-seater car in the near future, this article is for you. We have compiled a list of upcoming 7-seater SUVs.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift

Mahindra’s XUV700 has been one of the best-selling SUVs in the Indian market. It is highly likely to receive a mid-life update in the second half of the year. Without any mechanical changes, the XUV700 Facelift will feature an updated design, refreshed interior, and new features.

It is expected to get some high-end features from the XEV 9e, including a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, an augmented reality-based HUD (head-up display), and a triple-screen setup. Additionally, it already comes equipped with advanced features like diesel and petrol engine options, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and a panoramic sunroof.

Maruti Grand Vitara 7-Seater

Maruti is set to make a big launch by the end of this year with the Grand Vitara 7-Seater. However, its official name and other details have not yet been confirmed. The upcoming 7-seater Maruti Grand Vitara will share its platform, design elements, interior, features, and powertrain with the existing model.

With an extended wheelbase and a third row, the 7-seater Grand Vitara is expected to offer advanced features, including new alloy wheels, updated headlamps and taillamps, ADAS, seven airbags, a larger sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and more. Like the current model, it will be available with a 1.5L K15C petrol mild-hybrid and a 1.5L Atkinson strong-hybrid engine, delivering a maximum fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl.

Toyota Hyryder 7-Seater

Toyota will also introduce the 7-seater Grand Vitara as a rebadged version, similar to the current model. By the end of the year, the Toyota Hyryder is expected to be launched as a three-row SUV. Apart from increased length and space, its design will remain similar to the 5-seater version. Everything from design, interior, and features to fuel efficiency will be identical to the 7-seater Grand Vitara.
