Customers can purchase the 2024 Honda Amaze in V, VX, and ZX variants. The entry-level V trim is priced at ₹7.99 lakh, while the VX variant costs ₹9.10 lakh. The top-spec ZX variant is available for ₹9.69 lakh. These are ex-showroom introductory prices and will remain applicable for 45 days post-launch.
Design Updates
The new Amaze features a larger and more upright grille. It comes with twin-pod projector headlights and a simple yet sleek bumper design equipped with projector fog lamps. Its side profile remains similar to the previous model. It also gets 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and tail lights inspired by the Honda City.
Features and Interior
The interior design of the new Amaze is heavily inspired by the Honda Elevate. It includes a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch free-standing infotainment system, a 6-speaker sound system, rear AC vents, a wireless charger, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.
Safety
In terms of safety, it is equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and ADAS features.
Engine and Performance
The new Amaze has not undergone mechanical changes. It continues to be offered with the same 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This powertrain produces 90hp of power and 110 Nm of torque and can be purchased with either a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
Honda Amaze's claimed fuel efficiency is 19.46 km per liter with the CVT transmission. With the manual transmission, it can run up to 18.65 km on one liter of petrol. It is expected that the company will also offer a CNG version in the coming days.
