Renault Duster has remained one of the most popular SUVs in the Indian market. However, the company had discontinued it, and now Renault Duster is making a comeback in a new avatar. Recently, new information has surfaced regarding this SUV.
The new Renault Duster SUV will come with a turbo petrol engine option: according to reports. It may feature a 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit, similar to the one found in the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
In addition, the car may also offer a 1.3-liter turbo petrol engine option. The Duster is the most successful model of the Renault Group (Renault + Dacia) in Europe and other global markets. The Dacia or Duster model has produced 2.2 million units since 2010.
The 2024 Renault Duster will come with all-new mechanics, a new style, and more updated interior. The new generation Duster is built on the Renault-Nissan Alliance's CMF-B modular platform.
It is based on the Sandero and Jogger. Speaking of the profile of the new SUV, it features some modern styling elements. The new generation model is slightly longer compared to the previous model. Additionally, its look will be sporty.
Several images of the new Duster SUV have surfaced. From the pictures, it seems that the Duster SUV may feature larger wheels, double-stack grille, and headlights, among other things. The rear of this SUV reveals tail lamps and a thick boot door.
New Gen Renault Duster Interior: In this, you will find a dual digital display, a three-spoke steering wheel, grey and black cabin, and a stacked center console. The pillars of this SUV are black in color, and the door handles of the rear doors are concealed in the C-pillar.
The Duster comes with a completely new interior featuring a redesigned dashboard and central console. It includes a digital instrument cluster. Its base model continues to offer a semi-digital driver display.
The new Duster may also feature ADAS technology. This SUV comes with redesigned automatic transmission selector lever. It includes a flat-bottom steering wheel with cruise and infotainment control buttons.
The company has used hard plastic throughout the cabin. In comparison to the previous model, this quality is better. The length of the new Duster SUV is 4,343 mm, with a height of 1,656 mm and a wheelbase of 2,657 mm.
Compared to the second-generation model, the new SUV is 2 mm longer. However, its wheelbase has decreased by approximately 16 mm. Meanwhile, its boot space has been increased by 27 liters.
