South Korean car manufacturer Kia is preparing to relaunch its popular Carnival car. The new generation model of the Kia Carnival is set to be launched in India on October 3, 2024. Along with this car, Kia will also launch its new EV9 electric car.
Kia India has already started bookings for the upcoming new Carnival. On the very first day of booking, the premium MPV received 1,822 pre-bookings. This new Kia Carnival will enter the Indian market with several updates. Notably, the new Carnival was showcased as the KA4 concept model at the 2023 Auto Expo.

Customers who wish to book this new luxury car can do so via the official Kia website or at their nearest Kia dealership. They will need to pay a token amount of ₹2 lakh for the booking.
Kia Carnival Variants Details
The new Carnival will be introduced in India as a completely built unit (CBU). It will be offered in two variants: Limousine and Limousine Plus. Let's explore the features and specifications of both variants.
Kia Carnival Limousine Varian
This variant comes equipped with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED headlamps with auto function, LED fog lamps, LED DRLs, and a rear spoiler with LED. It also features two single-pane sunroofs, body-colored door handles, chrome accents, and powered sliding doors. Inside, the Limousine variant of the Carnival includes a 12.3-inch digital driver display, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker sound system, driving modes, tilt and telescopic steering, IRVM, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with pedals. For safety, it offers 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and 2-level ADAS safety features.
Kia Carnival Limousine Plus Variant
This variant adds front and rear matte chrome skid plates, LED rear fog lamps, paddle lamps, and a smart-powered tailgate. It shares the same safety features as the Limousine variant. Additionally, it has heated and ventilated second-row seats with leg support. Other features include an 11-inch advanced head-up display, wireless charger, rain-sensing wipers, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. The Limousine Plus variant also boasts a more premium tan interior. The new Kia Carnival to be launched in India will be powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine.
