MG Motor, a leading car manufacturer, has the Gloster as one of its major models in the Indian market. According to reports, the company is soon going to introduce an updated version of this large-sized SUV. Recently, the 2025 MG Gloster SUV was captured by the DriveSpark team during testing.
Although the spy images show the new Gloster completely covered, so that it is not apparent what kind of new updates have been made to the Gloster, we have still tried to gather some information from the spy photos.
Design
The exterior design of the upcoming 2025 MG Gloster SUV is similar to the Maxus D90 SUV recently sold in Australia. The 2025 MG Gloster SUV will feature a split headlamp setup.
In addition, the spy images reveal an octagonal front grille. The LED headlamp lighting elements are arranged vertically. According to reports, the side and rear profile of the 2025 MG Gloster will remain similar to the current model.
However, there might be some changes in the tail lamp graphics and alloy wheel design. The bold look of the 2025 MG Gloster SUV is sure to bring a strong presence on the road.
Interior Design
The interior of the 2025 MG Gloster SUV will also be similar to the Maxus D90 SUV. It may feature a rotary gear selector instead of a traditional gear lever. Additionally, there could be a new digital instrument panel and an updated dashboard with new AC vents.
According to reports, the 2025 MG Gloster SUV may feature a Level-2 ADAS suite. However, there is unlikely to be any changes to the powertrain. It might offer two diesel engine options: a single-turbo and a bi-turbo.
In addition, the 2025 MG Gloster SUV model will be available in both 2WD and 4WD variants. According to reports, the facelifted Gloster will be available for sale in the second half of this year. Its price in the Indian market is expected to be between ₹48 lakh and ₹55 lakh (ex-showroom).

The starting price of the MG Gloster SUV in the Indian market is currently ₹38 lakh (ex-showroom). MG has equipped this car with several safety features, including six airbags, hill hold control, electronic stability control, and hill descent control.
MG Gloster SUV Powertrain
This MG SUV offers two diesel engine options a 2-liter turbo and a 2-liter twin-turbo engine. Both engines come with a standard 8-speed automatic gearbox.
