Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 are available with discounts of up to ₹3 lakh. After the discount, the price of the Nexon EV starts at ₹12.49 lakh. The discount is available on the top-spec EL Pro variant of the XUV400. Let’s learn more about these two EVs.
Tata Nexon EV
This electric SUV from Tata is equipped with an all-new split LED headlamp setup and LED daytime running lights. It features 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, there is an LED light bar that spans the width of the updated tailgate.
The Nexon EV comes with two new large screens, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. It also includes a new steering-mounted paddle shifter, 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, wireless smartphone charger, voice command function, height-adjustable and ventilated front seats, air purifier, JBL audio system with subwoofer, and a sunroof.
This electric SUV comes with 6 airbags and standard ESC. It also features front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake, hill ascent and descent control, and rear disc brakes. It has received a 5-star safety rating from GNCAP.
Mahindra XUV400
This is the only electric offering from the Indian automotive giant. It is available in two variants with two battery options. The XUV400 EC Pro comes with a 34.5 kWh battery as its sole option and claims to offer a range of up to 359 km.
The EL Pro variant offers the same features, but with an additional 39.4 kWh option, promising a range of 456 km on a single charge. The XUV400 EL Pro variant features two 10.25-inch touchscreen displays for its infotainment and instrument cluster. It has also received a 5-star safety rating.
