High Demand for Cars: Maruti Suzuki Fronx to Hyundai Creta

The Indian auto market performed impressively last month. Major car manufacturers in the country took full advantage of the festive season, selling a substantial number of vehicles in October 2024. Here, we present a list of the top 10 best-selling cars based on sales. At the top of this list is the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Maruti delivered a significant number of units of its popular MPV to customers last month. In October 2024, Ertiga's total sales reached 18,785 units, marking a 32% increase from the 14,209 units sold in October 2023.

Maruti Suzuki Swift

Maruti recently updated its popular compact hatchback, which secured the second position with total sales of 17,539 units in October 2024. However, this figure is 15% lower than the 20,598 units sold in the same month last year.

Hyundai Creta

Hyundai, the country’s second-largest car manufacturer, saw its most successful product, the Hyundai Creta, take third place in terms of sales last month. A total of 17,497 units of the Creta were sold in October 2024, representing a 34% increase compared to the 13,077 units sold in October 2023.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Maruti&rsquo's Brezza also performed well in October 2024. A total of 16,565 units were sold last month, a 3% increase from the 16,050 units sold in October 2023, indicating a slight growth.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Maruti’s game-changing SUV surpassed the 16,419 units sold mark last month. In comparison, the company sold 11,357 units of the Fronx in October 2023, resulting in a 45% increase in sales.

Additionally, in October 2024, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno recorded sales of 16,082 units, the Tata Punch reached 15,740 units, the Mahindra Scorpio sold 15,677 units, the Tata Nexon achieved 14,759 units, and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara sold 14,083 units.
