1. Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is the most affordable car in India
that comes with a head-up display. This feature is available in the top-spec
Alpha trim, which is priced between ₹9.38 lakh to ₹9.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Baleno’s HUD projects information such as speed,
navigation alerts, and gear position, allowing the driver to keep their eyes on
the road. This premium hatchback comes with a 1.2-liter Dual Jet petrol engine
that produces 90 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. It offers both 5-speed manual
and AMT transmission options. Other premium features of the Baleno include a
9-inch touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, and 6 airbags. Its fuel efficiency
ranges between 22.35 km/l to 22.9 km/l, making it highly economical.
2. Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is a Baleno-based crossover SUV,
launched in 2023. Its Alpha trim comes with a head-up display, with prices
starting at ₹11.47 lakh. The HUD in the Fronx projects similar information as
the Baleno, such as speed and navigation. It is powered by a 1.0-liter turbo
petrol engine (100 horsepower, 147.6 Nm), with 5-speed manual and 6-speed
automatic transmission options. The Fronx delivers a mileage of 20.01 km/l to
21.5 km/l. It also features a 9-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and a
360-degree camera. Its design and increased ground clearance make it suitable
for rough roads.
3. Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos is a mid-size SUV that offers a head-up
display in its X-Line variant, with prices starting from ₹19.65 lakh. Its HUD
is more premium and displays information such as speed, navigation, cruise
control, and Drive Wise technology data.
The Seltos comes with two engine options: a 1.5-liter
turbo-petrol engine (160 horsepower) and a 1.5-liter diesel engine (116
horsepower), both paired with dual-clutch and torque converter automatic
transmissions. Its 8-inch HUD enhances driver convenience and safety. Other
features of the Seltos include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof,
and 6 airbags.
