Recently, Mahindra, one of the leading SUV manufacturers in the country, launched a facelift version of the XUV 300 called the XUV 3OO. After launching the XUV 3XO, Mahindra may soon introduce the facelift version of the XUV 400 EV. According to reports, the company has revealed information regarding homologation documents for this. Information about introducing additional variants has also emerged.

According to the documents, the facelift variant will offer options of LG Chem cells with capacities of 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh, similar to the current variant. Additionally, there might be an option for a 39.4 kWh capacity Farasis cell as a third option. With the motor in place, it will deliver 150 horsepower. It can be driven up to a maximum of 456 kilometers on a single charge, and its top speed will also be up to 150 kilometers per hour.

There will be changes in the features

According to reports, the company will add several features to the XUV 400 Facelift. Many features offered in the 3XO by the company might be included in the 400 EV Facelift as well. This could include new headlights, LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear-connected tail lights, Level-2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, an improved infotainment system, six airbags, connected features, etc. Additionally, some variants might also feature the soft-touch feature, similar to what is being offered in some variants of the 3XO.

How many variants will there be

The current version of the XUV 400 offered by the company includes the EC and EL Pro variants. However, in the facelift version, the company might introduce variants such as EC L, EC L(O), EC LL, EL LL (O), EL LH, EL LH (O), EL PH, and EL PH (O).

How long and wide will it be

According to the information, its length will be 4200 mm, width will be 1821 mm, and wheelbase will be 2600 mm. With the sky rack, its height will be 1634 mm.
