BYD eMax 7
The leading Chinese car manufacturer BYD continuously expands its business in the Indian market. According to reports, the company is set to launch a new eMax7 MPV on October 8. The new BYD E-MAX7 is an electric MPV model and may replace the E6 MPV in India.
The BYD eMax 7 will be introduced with several updated features and designs. This electric vehicle will not only be sold in India but also the global market under a new name.
Key features of the BYD eMax 7
According to reports, this car will be available in both 6 and 7-seater options. Given the current demand for family cars in the Indian market, BYD plans to introduce a 7-seater model. The new BYD eMax 7 will offer a longer range than the E6 and will have updated features. This electric MPV model is expected to give tough competition to the Toyota Innova. The BYD eMax 7 might include a 12.8-inch tilting touchscreen, a wireless charger, and a large panoramic sunroof.
The BYD eMax 7 MPV will also feature ventilated seats for a comfortable ride. The safety features of the car will also be updated. The E-Max7 electric car may come with 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, and disc brakes. Moreover, the E-Max7 could be equipped with a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). These features are already available in the M6 electric car model sold in the Indonesian market.
Powertrain
The new BYD eMax 7 will be launched with two different battery pack options, 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh. It is anticipated that the new BYD eMax 7 will offer a range of up to 500 km on a single charge.
Price
With the intense competition among electric cars in the Indian market, it is expected that the new BYD eMax 7 will be launched at a price of ₹25-30 lakh (ex-showroom).
