Citroen India has launched a special edition of its popular SUV, the C3 Aircross. This new edition is named after former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Compared to Citroen's standard C3 Aircross, the new 'Dhoni Edition' features several special changes. Only a total of 100 units of this new edition will be sold.
The Citroen C3 Dhoni Edition car has been specially introduced for cricket fans. It includes custom accessories and special design features. Its starting ex-showroom price is 11.82 lakh rupees.
Special features of the Citroen C3 Dhoni Edition
The new C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition features special 'Dhoni' decals, color-coordinated seat covers and cushions, seatbelt cushions, front dashcam, and illuminated sill plates.
In addition, the company has mentioned that each unit will come with a special gift inside the glove box. Furthermore, out of the 100 units, one lucky customer will also receive gloves signed by MS Dhoni himself.
Interested customers can book the new Citroen C3 Dhoni Edition through the company's dealerships. The price of this car starts from 11.82 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). In comparison, the standard Citroen C3 Aircross starts from 8.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
Powertrain of Citroen C3 Dhoni Edition
The Citroen C3 Aircross is equipped with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. It is available with a 6-speed manual transmission option. According to the company, it has a mileage of 18.5 kmpl.
Speaking of features, it includes safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, TPMS, and a reverse parking camera. Additionally, it comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, along with a 7-inch digital cluster.
