However, if you're waiting for Maruti Suzuki's electric car, you'll have to wait a little longer. According to reports, it may take another year for Maruti Suzuki's EVX electric car to hit the market.

Production Delay: The production of this car was supposed to start in September 2024. However, Maruti Suzuki is now planning to start production of this car in February 2025, which will further delay the launch of Maruti Suzuki EVX.

Special features of Maruti Suzuki eVX: Talking about this electric car, has been tested multiple times on Indian roads. During this testing, some pictures of the car have emerged, revealing some features.

In Maruti eVX, a spacious interior has been provided along with a new 2-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Additionally, the car features a rotary dial for drive modes, a new freestanding touchscreen infotainment unit, interior chrome door handles, and the convenience of auto-dimming IRVM.

It also features projector headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna, and LED tail lights. Maruti Suzuki has not disclosed the complete technical specifications of the new eVX car.

According to the report, this model will come with an electric motor and a 60-kilowatt battery pack, which will provide a range of 550 kilometers on a full charge. Maruti Suzuki's eVX electric will compete with upcoming electric SUVs like the Tata Curv EV and the Mahindra XUV i.8 Electric SUV.

The new Maruti Suzuki eVX could be offered in both 2WD (Two-Wheel Drive) and AWD (All-Wheel Drive) systems. It is expected to come with electronic-control 4x4 technologies, and the new model may also feature ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology.
