The new Dzire has 6 airbags, all three-point seat belts, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, and reverse parking sensors. Both the Amaze and Dzire feature ISOFIX seat anchors for child safety. Notably, the Dzire is the first Maruti Suzuki model to receive a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, scoring full points for adult safety and 4 stars for child safety.

The new Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 90 hp and 110 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox and delivers a mileage of up to 19.46 km/l.
The new Dzire, on the other hand, is equipped with a Z-series 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine that generates 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox and offers a mileage of up to 22.61 km/l. The Dzire also offers a CNG fuel option with a mileage of up to 34 km/kg.

The new Honda Amaze's ex-showroom price ranges from ₹7.99 lahks to ₹10.90 lahks, while the new Dzire is priced between ₹6.79 lakh and ₹10.14 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Maruti Dzire is already a popular model in the Indian market, attracting more customers is a challenge for the Honda Amaze. However, the Amaze offers more features, though it misses out on a sunroof.
