Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched the Venue S Plus variant with an electric sunroof. It is priced at ₹9.36 lakh (ex-showroom). This model features a modern design and the latest connectivity. The variant is available with a single petrol engine. Let’s learn more about it.
The Hyundai Venue S Plus now offers an option for an electronic sunroof. Previously, Hyundai had also updated the VENUE S(O)+ variant with an electric sunroof, priced at ₹9,99,900 (ex-showroom).
In today’s market, most customers prefer cars equipped with sunroofs, which is why Hyundai has updated its popular Venue with this feature. Here are its highlights:
Engine
The new Venue S Plus variant is available with a manual gearbox and is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine. This engine produces 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. The only transmission option available with this engine is the manual gearbox.
Features
This variant includes a digital instrument cluster with a color TFT screen. Additionally, it comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Hyundai Venue S Plus also offers separate AC vents for the rear seats.
Compared to the Hyundai VENUE S(O)+ variant, the Venue S Plus is priced ₹64,000 less, although both variants offer the electric sunroof feature.
Safety Features
For passenger safety, it includes 6 airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, hill start assist control, and auto headlamps. Hyundai Venue is one of the company’s best-selling cars.
With these new updates, the Hyundai Venue is likely to see an increase in sales. Currently, there is significant demand for cars with sunroofs among customers. Therefore, Hyundai is gradually offering electric sunroof features in its cars to attract buyers.
The company hopes that the introduction of this new variant in the Venue lineup will attract new car buyers across the country. This added interest is expected to help the South Korean automaker increase its overall sales figures in India.
Hyundai anticipates that the availability of an electric sunroof in the Venue lineup will attract new car buyers nationwide. If you are looking for an affordable car with a sunroof, you might consider the Hyundai Venue S Plus.
