The year 2024 is ending, and the new year's arrival is just around the corner. Several car manufacturers have announced price hikes starting from January 2025. Now, Mahindra & Mahindra have also joined this list. Yes, Mahindra is set to increase the prices across its range of vehicles.
Mahindra sells various SUVs in the domestic market, including the Thar, Scorpio, XUV300, and XUV700. In November 2024, the company sold 46,222 vehicles, a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 15.6% compared to the 39,981 units sold in November 2023. Now, the company is set to increase the prices of its vehicles by up to three percent.
Mahindra Price Hike
Mahindra has announced a price increase of up to 3% for various SUV models and commercial vehicles. This change will officially come into effect from January 1, 2025. According to Mahindra, this price adjustment is a result of rising costs due to inflation and an increase in commodity prices. Apart from Mahindra, other brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Tata Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Audi, and BMW have also announced price hikes starting with the new calendar year. Mahindra XUV700
The ex-showroom price of this popular SUV in the Indian market ranges from ₹13.99 lakh to ₹26.04 lakh. It is available with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine, offering a mileage of up to 17 km/l. The SUV comes with seating configuration options of 5, 6, and 7 seats.
Mahindra XUV300
This 5-seater SUV, sold domestically, has an ex-showroom price range of ₹7.79 lakh to ₹15.49 lakh. It comes with engine options including a 1.2-liter turbo petrol, 1.2-liter TGDI turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
Mahindra Thar Roxx
The recently launched Mahindra Thar ROXX has become a popular off-road SUV in India. Its ex-showroom price ranges from ₹12.99 lakh to ₹22.49 lakh. It is available with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-liter diesel engine. The three-door version of the Thar has been winning the hearts of Indian youth for several years.
