Mahindra XUV700

Mahindra cars have their own fan base in the Indian market. The company's cars are equipped with excellent safety and features, which make them highly popular. Particularly, Mahindra's Scorpio, XUV700, Bolero, and XUV300 SUVs are witnessing record sales. Recently, Mahindra's popular XUV700 has surpassed the milestone of 200,000 units produced.

The Mahindra XUV700 set this record in just 33 months, with the last 100,000 units being produced in only 21 months. The Mahindra XUV700 was introduced to the Indian market in August 2021.

Higher Demand for Diesel Cars

Mahindra sold a total of 5,008 units of the XUV700 in May. Out of these, 3,845 units were diesel variants and 1,163 units were petrol variants. Thus, 77% of the cars sold were diesel.

Price and Variants

 In the Indian market, the new Mahindra XUV700 SUV is priced between ₹13.99 lakh and ₹26.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in multiple variants including MX, AX, AX3, and AX5. You can purchase it in various colors such as Everest White, Midnight Black, and Napoli Black, among others.

Mahindra XUV700 Performance

This SUV is available with both petrol and diesel powertrain options. Its 2-liter turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. Meanwhile, the 2.2-liter diesel engine generates 185 PS of power and 450 Nm of peak torque.

In the XUV700 SUV, depending on the variant, there are options for a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. It features AWD (All-Wheel Drive) and FWD (Front-Wheel Drive) technology. It offers a mileage of up to 17 km per liter. You can buy it in 5, 6, and 7-seater configurations.

Features

As far as features are concerned, the SUV is equipped with several advanced features. It includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker audio system, a 6-way power driver's seat, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, and Alexa connectivity.

Safety Features

The new Mahindra XUV700 has received a 5-star rating from Global NCAP. For passenger safety, it includes 7 airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), and a 360-degree camera.

In the Indian market, the Mahindra XUV700 competes with the Hyundai Creta, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and Tata Harrier SUVs. This car is also favored by Indian celebrities.
