MG Cloud EV Interior Features
Although most of the dashboard of the spied model is covered, some details are visible. The India-spec Cloud EV is likely to feature a fully digital instrument cluster and a large floating infotainment touchscreen.
The car's dashboard includes a two-spoke steering wheel with horizontal lines covering all four AC vents and infotainment controls. The minimalist dashboard design of the Cloud incorporates horizontal creases above the AC vents.
This design looks clean and modern, aligning with the trends of contemporary cars. Due to the efficient use of space in electric cars, this 5-seater will offer ample space and comfort
MG Cloud EV Exterior Features
Previous spy images reveal that the silhouette of the MG Cloud EV is a mix of an MPV and a hatchback, although MG Motor India refers to it as a CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle).
MG Cloud EV Exterior Design
The exterior design is minimalistic, featuring flush door handles, clean surfaces, and full-width LED light bars at both the front and rear. The vehicle also has sharply sloping windshields at the front and back. The crossover’s exterior includes large glass sections and extended quarter glass areas, giving the car a sleek look while maintaining spaciousness for passengers
MG Cloud EV Battery Options and Range
The battery specifications for the Indian market have not yet been disclosed. However, internationally, the MG Cloud offers two battery pack options: a 37.9kWh pack that provides a range of 360 km, and a 50.6kWh unit that offers a range of 460 km. Both battery options power a 134hp electric motor mounted on the front axle.
This range flexibility allows potential buyers to choose based on their driving needs, whether they require a longer range or prefer a more economical option with sufficient range for daily commuting.
MG Cloud EV Price and Competition
MG Motor India plans to launch its new electric car, the Cloud EV, this Diwali season at a price below 20 lakh rupees. With this pricing, the car will be positioned between the company's existing models, the Comet and the ZS EV. It will compete with other electric compact SUVs such as the Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV400.
The international model of the Cloud car includes fully reclining front seats, known as 'sofa mode,' round speakers mounted on the doors, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS technology. However, it is yet to be confirmed if all these features will be available in the Indian model.
