Windsor EV has recently become the best-selling electric car in the country. It
has now received a larger battery pack along with new features, although its

Bigger Battery Pack and Longer Range
The MG Windsor EV Pro is equipped with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack, which is
significantly bigger than the standard model's 38 kWh battery. According to
MIDC (Part I + II), it claims a range of 449 kilometers.
Charging Time
With the help of a 7.4 kW AC charger, it takes 9.5 hours to charge from 0 to
100 percent. Using a 60 kW DC fast charger, it can be charged from 20 to 80
percent in just 50 minutes.
Enhanced Safety
The Windsor EV Pro includes Level-2 ADAS features that make driving safer and
more comfortable. It comes with Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise
Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Traffic Jam Assist.
Smart Sensors and Cameras
These features work together with sensors and cameras to provide automatic
braking and steering assistance.
Advanced Features
The
MG Windsor EV Pro comes with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle
(V2V) capabilities. With V2L technology, the car’s battery can be used to power
other electronic devices. The V2V feature allows the vehicle to charge other
electric vehicles, making it a more practical and versatile car.
New Colour Options
The
Windsor EV Pro now features new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and three
new colour options – Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red. The cabin
sports a dual-tone Black and Ivory interior, enhancing the premium feel of the
vehicle.
Interior and Pricing
It is equipped with features like a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a 9-speaker Infinity
sound system, 135-degree reclining aero-lounge seats, and a panoramic glass
roof.
Under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program, it can be purchased at a
starting ex-showroom price of just ₹12.49 lakh, which includes a battery rental
cost of ₹4.5 per kilometre.
