The Grand Vitara is already a car with many features, and now with the addition of ADAS, it will become even better. According to reports, Maruti Suzuki will soon integrate ADAS technology into the Grand Vitara. This technology enhances the safety of the car with the help of cameras and sensors.
ADAS includes several special features such as automatic braking, recognizing and alerting about traffic signals, and providing alerts for other vehicles approaching the car's path, among others.
If ADAS technology is installed in the Grand Vitara, it will become Maruti Suzuki's first car with such features. ADAS features include assistance in parking, adaptive cruise control to control speed, lane departure warning, and rear collision warning, among others.
It is estimated that by the end of this year, the Grand Vitara with ADAS technology will start becoming available. Just last year, Maruti Suzuki began the work of incorporating ADAS into the Grand Vitara. With this new feature, the safety of the car will significantly increase.
At present, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes with several safety features including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), central locking, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Assist, Isofix child seats, reverse camera, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
Incorporating ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) into the Grand Vitara will further strengthen its safety standards. This change will enhance the image of the Grand Vitara, similar to Tata cars known for safety. Consequently, an increase in sales of the Grand Vitara is expected.
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is currently available at a starting price of 12.57 lakh rupees, going up to 23.32 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). This car is available in both petrol and CNG options. According to the company's claims, the CNG model of the Grand Vitara provides a mileage of up to 26.6 kilometers per kilogram.
