Attractive Design
In fact, Skoda has released an updated design teaser of its new sub-4-meter SUV, showcasing a glimpse of the car's rear-end look. The new Skoda compact SUV will feature LED tail lamps similar to the Skoda Kushaq at the rear.
Additionally, the car's rear side features a bold 'Skoda' badging. Moreover, the car might come with a new split-LED lighting setup and an updated Skoda butterfly grille.
Powertrain
According to reports, the new Skoda compact SUV could be offered with a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 113 BHP and 178 Nm of torque.
With this engine, a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox option might be offered. As for features, it is likely to come with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster.
Additionally, features such as a sunroof, ventilated seats, and wireless cell phone charging might also be provided. This car is being built on the MQB A0-IN platform. The company has already used this platform for the Skoda Kushaq and Skoda Slavia.
Skoda's new sub-4 meter compact SUV will be slightly smaller than the Skoda Kushaq. The new car is likely to have features similar to the Skoda Kushaq. Therefore, it can also be called the 'Baby Skoda Kushaq'.
As for the price, it is believed that the starting price of the new car might be around 8 lakh rupees. If Skoda's compact SUV comes at this price, it is certainly expected to achieve record sales.
According to reports, the new car will be unveiled in January 2025, and it will be officially launched in March 2025. This new SUV will compete with cars like the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
Additionally, the Skoda compact SUV may also see updates in safety features. It could include advanced features such as a 360° camera, an electronic parking brake, and warning sensors for driving forward.
