company is soon expected to launch the facelift version of its compact SUV, the

are sold in the compact SUV segment. Tata Motors also sells the Tata Punch in
this segment. As per media reports, the manufacturer is preparing to introduce
a facelift version of this SUV. In this report, we tell you what kind of
features might be offered in the upcoming facelift model.
Tata Punch Facelift is Coming
Tata Motors may soon launch the facelift version of the
Punch in India. Before its official launch, the facelift model is being tested
by the company. During the testing phase, the SUV has been spotted in Pune.
What Information Has Been Revealed?
The new unit of the Tata Punch spotted during testing was
fully camouflaged. However, several details have still come to light. Reports
suggest that this SUV could be updated with features like a 360-degree camera,
connected tail lamps, rear parking sensors, and new alloy wheels.
Design Changes
It is expected that Tata Punch’s existing design may receive
minor tweaks, but not major changes. The design could be inspired by the Punch
EV. Along with exterior upgrades, the interior will also see improvements,
making it more advanced compared to the current version. Some new features may
be included, such as six airbags as standard, a new 7–8-inch instrument
cluster, and an updated AC control panel.
No Changes in Engine
According to reports, there will be no changes in the engine
of the Tata Punch facelift. It will continue with the existing 1.2-litre Revotron
engine, which delivers 87.8 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. The SUV will be
offered with both a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission.
Expected Launch Timeline
The manufacturer has not provided any official details about
the launch of the Tata Punch facelift. However, it is expected to be introduced
in India by December 2025 or early next year.
