Tata Harrier EV: Tata Motors is known as a reputable automobile manufacturer in India. The company launched the new facelifted Harrier in spectacular style at the end of last year.
The new Tata Harrier is a mid-size SUV, currently available only with a diesel powertrain. According to reports, the company is preparing to make the Harrier more accessible to a greater number of buyers in the coming years.
It is being reported that this car could be introduced in petrol and electric forms in 2025. However, no official information has been provided by the company regarding this matter yet.
What will be the price: It is estimated that the Tata Harrier EV, which is expected to enter the Indian market, could be priced at ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom). This car, which will come with a larger battery pack option, will feature dual motors.
This SUV will be capable of providing a range of 500 kilometers on a full charge. According to the report, the Harrier EV will feature the same set of features as the diesel powertrain model. Additionally, its design will also be similar to the current model.
This SUV is expected to come with features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual-zone automatic AC, a 6-way power driver seat, wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof.
Currently, the Tata Harrier SUV is available in the domestic market at ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹15.49 lakh to ₹26.44 lakh. It is available in variants like Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless.
Speaking of design, it features an updated grille, split headlights, and 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels. The Tata Harrier is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine that produces 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of peak torque.
Depending on the variant, it is available with the option of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. It offers a mileage of 16.8 kilometers per liter. The Harrier can comfortably seat 5 people.
It boasts several features including a 10.25-inch or 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. In terms of safety, it comes with 7 airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), and other latest features.
