The entry of BMW XM Label in the Indian market.

BMW has launched the first BMW XM Label in India. Available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), only one unit from the 500 produced globally is coming to India. The BMW XM Label is available in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of ₹3.15 crore. Let’s explore the advanced features, specifications, and engine details of this luxury car.

BMW XM Label Design

Its unique design gives it a very attractive and distinctive look. This is a Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) with an exterior design featuring a large size, clear lines, and a front-end appearance that is typically seen in luxury-class BMW models.

The exterior is painted in Frozen Carbon Black Metallic, which appears deeper and more lustrous compared to regular black. Red color badging is used both on the exterior and interior of the car, including the model badge and wheel inserts. The shiny color accents and matte surfaces make the BMW XM Label even more captivating. The 22-inch M light alloy wheels further enhance the car's style.

BMW XM Label Powertrain

The BMW XM Label is equipped with an M HYBRID system, which is exceptionally powerful. It combines an electric motor with a V8 engine, allowing the car to deliver impressive speed and performance. Together, they produce a maximum power of 550 kW (748 hp) and a maximum torque of 1000 Nm. The petrol engine alone generates 430 kW (585 hp) and 720 Nm of torque, while the electric motor provides 145 kW (197 hp) and 280 Nm of torque. The car is also powered by a high-voltage 25.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, allowing it to run for 76 to 82 km on electric power alone.

The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Its electronically limited top speed is 250 km/h, but with the M Driver's Package, this can be increased to 290 km/h.

BMW XM Label Features

The car is equipped with BMW ConnectedDrive, making it as smart as a smartphone. With this, you can control the car remotely, get real-time traffic updates, and call for help in case of emergencies. The luxury vehicle features a large display that shows navigation and traffic information. There’s also a smaller display near the steering wheel, which provides details about the car’s status.

The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant gives you helpful driving tips. For safety, the car is equipped with six airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), M Dynamic Mode (MDM), Attentiveness Assistance, M Sport Differential Network with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), crash sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounting, and an integrated emergency spare wheel located under the load floor.
