Hyundai Alcazar
Hyundai cars are performing exceptionally well in terms of sales in the Indian market. Due to its innovative design and latest features, Hyundai is posing a tough challenge to its competitors. According to a recent report, Hyundai has sold 75,506 units of the Alcazar in the domestic market so far.
If we add the export figures to this, the total exceeds one lakh units. The company has so far shipped 27,176 units abroad. Hyundai launched the Alcazar SUV on June 18, 2021, and it has since become the company's best-selling car.
According to the report, Hyundai has produced approximately 1.03 lakh units of the Alcazar SUV at its Chennai plant within 36 months. Alongside domestic sales, cars have also been exported from here.
In FY2023, Hyundai produced a total of 38,394 units of the Alcazar SUV. Out of these, 26,696 units were sold in India. Subsequently, in the fiscal year 2024, the company produced only 31,873 units. Among these, 20,753 units were sold in the domestic market, and 10,825 units were exported.
Although there has been a slight decline in sales of the company's Alcazar during the current fiscal year, only 2163 units of this car were sold in April-May 2024, while 4480 units were sold during April-May 2023.
Meanwhile, the company is working on a facelift model of its Alcazar SUV to boost sales, which is expected to be launched during the festive season. It is reported that the company will launch this car on the occasion of Alcazar's third anniversary.
Hyundai Alcazar Powertrains
This car comes with a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 160bhp and a peak torque of 253Nm. Additionally, the car also offers a 1.5-liter diesel engine option.

It features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto climate control, wireless phone charging, sunroof, and ventilated front seats among other features. For safety, it comes standard with 6 airbags.
