Renault has launched the 2025 Kiger Facelift in India on
August 24, 2025. This popular sub-4-meter SUV now comes with a fresh and
advanced look. Its price ranges from ₹6.29 lakh to ₹11.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
Let’s understand the 2025 Renault Kiger Facelift in 5 key points:
1. Updated Design
The 2025 Renault Kiger Facelift gets a bold and fresh
exterior design. At the front, it features a 10-slat grille, Renault’s new 2D
logo, sleek LED projector headlamps, and slim horizontal LED DRLs. The bumper
now has a sculpted design with silver accents, giving it a premium look. New
16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, black ORVMs, and a rear spoiler enhance the
SUV’s sporty appeal. At the rear, the C-shaped LED tail lamps are retained, but
the bumper has been tweaked, and brushed aluminum Kiger lettering has been
added.
2. Advanced Interior
The Kiger Facelift’s interior feels more refined, featuring
a dual-tone white and black dashboard, premium light leatherette upholstery,
and ventilated front seats. The cabin layout remains the same, but it now
offers better noise insulation on the hood, floor, and dashboard. Practical
features include a cooled glove box, rear AC vents, 60/40 split-folding rear
seats, and a center armrest.
It comes with a 20.32 cm (8-inch) floating touchscreen
infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay,
paired with a 6-speaker ARKAMYS 3D surround sound system. Other highlights
include a wireless phone charger, multiple USB ports, and a “Belongings Take
Away” alert for added convenience.
3. Improved Safety Features
Safety has been significantly enhanced in the 2025 Renault Kiger Facelift. All variants now get six airbags (front, side, and curtain) as
standard, an upgrade from the previous four airbags. The SUV offers 21 safety
features, including Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System
(TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and
ISOFIX child seat anchors. Additionally, it is equipped with a multi-view
360-degree camera system.
4. Engine and Mileage
The Kiger Facelift continues with the same engine options as
before:
- 1.0L Naturally Aspirated Petrol (72 PS, 96 Nm)
- 1.0L Turbo-Petrol (100 PS, up to 160 Nm)
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT
(for the NA petrol), and CVT (for the turbo-petrol). The SUV offers a maximum
mileage of 20.38 kmpl.
5. Price and Variants
The 2025 Kiger Facelift is available in four trims –
Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Prices start at ₹6.29 lakh and go up
to ₹11.29 lakh for the top-spec Turbo CVT model. With this, it will compete
against rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and
Nissan Magnite.
