Yes, according to media reports, the new generation Dzire could be introduced in the Indian market in August. Maruti Suzuki has been testing the 4th generation model of the Dzire for a long time. The new generation Dzire will come with an affordable price and a powerful engine.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Engine
The new model might feature a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated Z-Series petrol engine. It is expected to come with options of a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
When it comes to mileage, the manual variant of the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to provide up to 25 kilometers per liter. Meanwhile, the AMT variant is likely to achieve approximately 26 kilometers per liter.
The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire will initially launch with only a petrol engine option. However, a CNG model of the new Dzire is expected to be launched a few months later.
For the CNG model, the current third-generation Dzire with CNG engine achieves mileage of 31.12 kilometers per kilogram. The fourth-generation Dzire with CNG engine could potentially offer mileage of up to 35 kilometers per kilogram.
As for attractive features, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire may include amenities such as a single-pane electric sunroof, a large touchscreen infotainment system, and features like a 360-degree camera. Its design and features are expected to be similar to the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift.
However, in terms of features, we might see some updates. According to reports, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire could feature a flat roofline and new rear glass. Additionally, it might come with an updated grille and a clamshell bonnet.
In terms of dimensions, the new Dzire is expected to be 3995 mm long, 1735 mm wide, 1515 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2450 mm. It will also offer a spacious boot space of 378 liters, similar to the current model.
Regarding pricing, the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to start at around 7 lakh rupees (ex-showroom), while the top variant could be priced around 10.50 lakh rupees.
