This model is the second in Lamborghini’s lineup to feature hybrid power, and it also comes with updates to both its interior and exterior design.
Lamborghini gave its super SUV, the Urus, a mid-life update in April this year, which is now called the Urus SE. The update includes changes to both the design and powertrain, among other features. With its upcoming launch in India, let’s take a detailed look at what the Urus SE has to offer.
Lamborghini claims that the Urus SE can travel up to 60 kilometers on electric power alone. This SUV features an all-wheel-drive system, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 312 km/h.
Lamborghini Urus SE Design and Features
The Urus SE features a newly designed hood that extends forward compared to the previous model. It also comes with a new LED signature with matrix technology and slim LED headlights.
The front and rear bumpers, as well as the tailgate section, have also been updated. Inside, the dashboard has been refreshed with new panels and air vents. It features a new 12.3-inch central touchscreen, replacing the older 10.1-inch unit found in the previous model.
Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain and Performance
It is powered by a hybrid system that combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery in a plug-in hybrid setup. The 8-speed automatic transmission is paired with an integrated electric motor, delivering a total system output of up to 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque.
Lamborghini Urus SE Price and Competitors
When it was first introduced in India in 2018, the Urus was priced at ₹3 crore. Later, the Urus Performante and Urus S models were priced at ₹4.22 crore and ₹4.18 crore, respectively.
Considering its hybrid powertrain, the Urus SE is expected to be quite expensive. Internationally, this model comes with 21, 22, or 23-inch wheels, which are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires."
