Mahindra & Mahindra recorded a 16% growth in September, with a total of 87,839 units sold. The company sold 51,062 SUVs in India, reflecting a 24% growth. Additionally, domestic sales of commercial vehicles stood at 23,706 units.
What the Company Said: Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., said, "We sold 51,062 SUVs in September, which represents a 24% growth, and a total of 87,839 vehicles, showing a 16% growth.
VEERO LCV
Mahindra also launched the all-new VEERO in the LCV (3.5-ton) segment this month, which is based on India’s first multi-energy modular CV platform. It offers best-in-class mileage, exceptional performance, industry-leading safety features, enhanced passenger protection, and an excellent cabin experience.
Thar Roxx
Mahindra is currently preparing to open bookings for the Thar Roxx on October 3. The brand has already launched the VEERO LCV in the market. With the Navratri festival, deliveries of the Thar Roxx are also expected to begin.
Price
Currently, the entry-level trim of the Mahindra Thar Roxx is available at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹12.99 lakh, while the top-spec model (ex-showroom) is priced at ₹22.49 lakh. Compared to the 3-door Thar, the Thar Roxx is significantly larger and more spacious, enhancing its practicality. In the Indian market, it will compete with the Force Gurkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny.

The Thar Roxx comes equipped with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, 6-way powered driver seat, 6 airbags, EPB with auto-hold, Harman Kardon audio system, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera system, 19-inch alloy wheels, and ventilated seats.
