Mahindra Marazzo
On one hand, Mahindra’s car sales are continuously increasing, but there are some models that are not attracting customers. One such model is the Mahindra Marazzo. According to reports, Mahindra has stopped selling its Marazzo MPV. The Marazzo has been removed from Mahindra’s official website, indicating this decision.
However, it is not clear whether the company will introduce this car with new updates or if its journey has ended forever. In the domestic market, the Mahindra Marazzo competes with models like the Kia Carens, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and Maruti Suzuki XL6.
It is worth mentioning that there has been a significant decline in the sales of the Mahindra Marazzo MPV over the past few months, which is why the company has had to make this decision. Even though Mahindra was offering continuous discounts on the Marazzo MPV, it did not have a significant impact on its sales.
Features of the Mahindra Marazzo MPV
The Marazzo features an aluminum suspension setup that makes driving more comfortable. It also had rear AC vents, which provided significant comfort for the passengers in the back.
However, despite these features, the Mahindra Marazzo MPV did not become very popular. You can gauge this from its sales figures. In May 2024, Mahindra recorded the lowest sales figures for the Marazzo to date.
In May 2024, only 16 units of this car were sold. The sales figures for the Mahindra Marazzo have been steadily declining. Last year, only 721 units of the Marazzo were sold in India.
Powertrain
The Mahindra Marazzo MPV comes with a 1.5-liter diesel engine. This engine generates 121 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox option.
Features
For passenger safety, the Mahindra Marazzo MPV is equipped with features such as airbags, ABS, EBD, and rear parking sensors. Additionally, the car offers a 7.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, remote keyless entry, automatic climate control, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
According to auto experts, Mahindra is expected to introduce this car with new updates and modern technology soon. The company has previously confirmed this by launching models like the Bolero Neo.
