Tata is bringing the new Safari EV.

The leading car manufacturer in the Indian auto market, Tata Motors, is at the top in terms of sales of electric cars. Expanding its lineup, the company is soon bringing the Tata Safari EV.

According to the report, the company's lineup will soon feature three new electric cars - the Tata Curv EV, Harrier EV, and Electric Tata Safari. Prior to this, Tata launched the new Punch EV earlier this year.

According to the report, the Tata Harrier and Safari electric cars are expected to debut during the festive season of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, respectively. Testing for both these electric cars has already been ongoing.

The Tata Safari EV has recently been spotted during road testing. Following the Nexon EV and Harrier EV, this is the third Tata electric SUV based on the brand's new Acti.EV platform.

The design of the Tata Safari EV: The new Safari EV, a three-row electric SUV, bears a resemblance to the ICE engine-powered Safari to a large extent. The interior will also be quite similar to the regular Safari.

However, the new Safari EV will be presented with cosmetic changes. You might see a closed grille, differently designed alloy wheels, and EV badging on it.

In addition, the electric SUV will come with Tata's logo and dashboard design along with a 4-spoke steering wheel. The new Tata Safari EV may feature a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front and rear seats, dual-zone AC, and a panoramic sunroof.

Safety features of the Tata Safari EV: Like every Tata car, the new EV will also come with enhanced safety features. These may include a blind-spot monitor, ADAS technology, electronic stability control, and features like a 360-degree camera along with 7 airbags.

According to the report, the Tata Safari EV is expected to provide a range of approximately 500 kilometers on a single charge. However, the company has not provided any information regarding its battery options yet.

As for the price, this EV could be introduced with an estimated starting price of around 32 lakh rupees. It will pose a challenge to electric vehicles like the BYD Atto 3, MG ZS EV, and upcoming electric vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki EVX and Hyundai Creta EV.
